Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte today (October 2) announced the expansion of their partnership to the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.

The expanded strategic alliance will enable Palo Alto to gain the ability to provide Deloitte clients with sophisticated AI-based cybersecurity solutions and more broadly.

Palo Alto highlighted that the key to more unified and secure cybersecurity solutions is “platformization,” meaning creating a seamless environment for security teams that simplifies operations using a single integrated platform instead of a vast and varied arsenal of cybersecurity tools that is only growing. complexity and difficulty.

“Australian organizations continue to see an increase in the volume and sophistication of cyberattacks. In an effort to protect themselves, many are adopting multiple, disconnected solutions, which can create vulnerabilities and operational complexities,” said Janet Docherty, director of ANZ channel sales and alliances at Palo Alto Networks.

“The platform has proven to be the best solution to address these challenges by removing the boundaries between different solutions. With this unified view of their cybersecurity tools, organizations can effectively close security gaps while improving operational efficiency.

Deloitte’s alliance with Palo Alto has already made it possible to offer these unified solutions to American clients. Now, customers in Australia and the rest of the JAPAC region, as well as EMEA, are expected to benefit.

“We strive to help our customers solve their most complex cybersecurity challenges, which requires continuous innovation and distinct approaches to technology integration leading to cyber transformation,” said Emily Mossburg, Global Leader of cybersecurity and director at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

“Expanding our alliance with Palo Alto Networks strengthens our global ability to deliver integrated, platform-based security solutions to help global customers improve their security posture by harnessing efficiency and integrating the power of AI to combat the evolving threat landscape.

This partnership will enable Deloitte clients to adopt a number of Palo Alto’s AI-powered security solutions, including the company’s SOC management platform, which helps clients by combining the capabilities of SIEM, SOAR and XDR to accelerate cyber response through simplification.

Additionally, Deloitte clients will have access to joint Deloitte and Palo Alto cloud security offerings, which use Deloitte’s intellectual property and industry-specific knowledge to help clients mitigate risk. They will also receive support in adopting and implementing the Zero Trust model.

“Real transformations require a solution that combines AI-driven platforms with deep industry knowledge and managed services – what Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte offer their clients through our alliance,” said said Kristy Friedrichs, director of partnerships at Palo Alto Networks.

“By significantly expanding the availability of our joint offerings and helping our joint customers migrate to unified platforms, we are meeting their changing needs and helping them achieve better security outcomes.” »
