Experienced quantitative researcher Warwick Schneller has taken on new roles, joining Scientific Beta as head of investment solutions for Australia and New Zealand.
Starting December 9, he will be a senior member of Scientific Beta’s team of investment specialists, working on research, index construction and business development to connect investors with cutting-edge global research and of the company’s index design.
Prior to that, Schneller spent nearly eight years at Dimensional Fund Advisors, most recently as senior investment strategist and vice president for a year and a half.
During his tenure with the firm, he led research initiatives and provided thought leadership, analysis and training to clients on a wide range of investment topics in Australia and New Zealand.
At Scientific Beta, he will work closely with Susan Rodgers, Business Development Director for Australia and New Zealand, to help develop new business with asset owners, asset managers and consultants. the region.
Commenting on the appointment, Rodgers highlighted his strong academic credentials, senior investment research and strategy experience in systematic stocks.
