Tribeca Investment Partners has appointed Australian Ethical’s Quyen Dam as its new national business development director (BDM).

Based in Sydney, she will report to head of distribution Alex Lupis and will be responsible for the wholesale channel in Australia.

This includes maintaining Tribeca’s strong relationships with the company’s existing wholesale and financial intermediary customer base, as well as developing new relationships and channels.

Dam spent seven years at fund manager Australian Ethical where she completed her tenure as regional director and previously focused on advisor relations. Prior to that, she spent seven years at IOOF and held roles at Westpac and BT.

In August, Tribeca centralized all of its distribution capacity in-house.

Lupis said, “This newly created role underscores Tribeca’s commitment to the wholesale midstream channel.

“Quyen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position. She holds a leadership position and has over 20 years of experience in financial services, including 17 years in business development roles. She has proven experience in business development and advisor relationship management, and her appointment will significantly increase the depth of our business development capabilities in the wholesale market.
